UiPath RPA Developer Responsibilities:
Alirrium follows a five-step approach to managing our RPA projects, RPA Developer responsibilities, broken out by each phase, are as follows:
1. Solution Design
a. Collaborate with the RPA Business Analyst to conduct and document business process reviews. Assist Business Analyst with creation of the Process Definition Document(PDD)
b. Collaborate with the RPA Solution Architect to build the to-be process architecture:
· UiPath Robotic Enterprise Framework(ReFramework)
· Orchestrator queues/assets
· Workflow (.xaml) structure
· Dispatcher/Performer packages
· Error Handling
2. Build RPA
a. Use PDD and architecture requirements to build the automation in UiPath Studio per Alirrium RPA coding standards (to be provided by Alirrium)
b. Conduct unit and integration testing to ensurePDD/architecture requirements are met
3. Test RPA
a. Collaborate with the RPA Business Analyst to create the Test Plan/Test Report
b. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client
c. Implement any bug fixes stemming from UAT
4. Go Live
a. Transition automation packages from development to production environment
b. Document automation process and architecture in a ‘Run Book’ (user-friendly combination of a Solution Design Document (SDD) andDesign Specification Document (DSD)
5. Hypercare
a. For a period of approximately two to four weeks, closely monitor automation performance and provide bug fixes
UiPath RPADeveloper Education/Certifications:
· Active Security Clearance
· 1+ year of working level experience with RPA projects
· UiPath Certified RPA Associated (UiRPA) required
· Experience working with the UiPath RoboticEnterprise Framework (REFramework)
· UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD)preferred.
· 2-5 years supporting software development or automation projects preferred.
· College degree recommended, but not required
· Software development skills recommended, but not required
